“If everything is pornography, then nothing is pornography”
The power of propaganda in the commodification of the body. In the denial of subjectivity. In the denial of autonomy. Of
the own body, of the own ego.
The own body that is and isn’t the own.
The power in the hands of those who control economic power and the media.
Power follows today the rules of porneia, fornicatory practice with money exchange.
It is conspicuous in the exchange of sex, power and money, the degradation of politics. The complaint is always
obscured, however, the sign sexed.
Today the extraordinary vehicle for the dissemination of pornocratic practice is the web and the 2.0 universe
(Think of the pornographic computer game, to sites where the content is not pornographic – for ex. cell phone ringtones
– have joined a porn content in an attempt to indicate its “normal.”)
Sexist pornographic media campaigns that enhance the male (that sometimes yield to the flesh) and that make people
indifferent to the issue.

It’s grafted a circular process that can feed itself and grow increasingly for which the increased tolerance (not just
pornography itself, but for pornocratic practice / policy) facilitates greater distribution that in turn has the feedback effect
of producing greater acceptance.

Zeppelin in 2009 is dedicated to the difficult relationship between public and private sectors and in parallel to the development of Internet 2.0, which now undergo a process of redefinition increasingly uncertain and paradoxical. More than a decade ago that Scott McNealy, Sun Microsystems, has predicted the death of privacy. For the first time in history, almost everyone is able to disseminate informations from any point on earth. But now the power and the fear justify the exercise of control, and, as a corollary, the involved arguments and the considered normal behavior that lead to loss of privacy.
